Debugging books
It's that time of year again, and GLASSHOUSE is on its way into paperback form. Which means, if you have spotted any typos or clear errors in your precious hardcover of it, I'd like to know (in the comments, below). Go on, you know you want to catch me out!

Well seeing as Amazon kindly cancelled my HC order (and I didn't notice) I'm now tracking a used/held back copy.

One typo which I can't remember if I've reported in email: you refer to the Deep Ones as Old Ones at least once, and if I recall my HPL (very badly, it was 1988 when I read any last) that's not right.
(Sorry, I can't remember where anymore: I'll look for it in the morning, or grep can find it for you, I guess. :) )

Don't remember any typos, will give it another read and see if I spot any. Fun book, I liked how just when I was hitting the point of "ack, I can't identify with these people", you went and grounded it in a paradigm that was completely understandable. :) Good deal, and yet again, the secret agent motif you use in your books worked out well as far as my enjoyment goes, heh. :)

My copy of Glasshouse has no red ink on its pages -
which is rather unusual when compared to the last
thirty or so newer works I've read. (The fine folk
at Ace seem to deliver the highest quality and lowest
error rates among the various publishers whose work
I read. And no, I don't work for them.)
BTW, has anyone ever analyzed distribution of typos
for clumping? I've often noticed errors tend to be
clumped in bursts, as if the proofreader had dozed
off for a page or two?

I'm afraid I've already read my precious hardcover of Glasshouse (found serendipitously in a bookstore), and I've read Jennifer Morgue too, so I can't report any typos. Missile Gap's on order, so I could look in there if that would be any help. :-)
