Formerly known as Diverse Drinkers , we are the Edinburgh
group of the Lesbian and Gay
Real Ale Drinkers, CAMRA's Task Group for LGBT
real ale and cider fans. Regular socials take place on the first
Monday of the month at the Holyrood Tavern, Holyrood
Road, from around 9pm. The pub, serves six real ales, typically Caledonian Deuchars
IPA, Caledonian 80/-, Timothy Taylor's
Landlord, Greene
King Old Speckled Hen, Orkney Dark Island and
Heather Ale Fraoch. Pub
crawls, trips to beer festivals and possibly even brewery visits
are planned.
With the loss of real ale from the only gay venue in Scotland selling the
stuff, campaigning might well be within our remit - input is especially
welcomed at the moment. Contact John to discuss the
