Answering my own question in # 59 An alternative, darker possibilty emerges, doesn't it? And what will they (try to) do when the penny finally drops? Or will it be too late, since once the gate had been opened, it was far too late to stem the power ......

So you're hoist by your own petard? ;) I guess what I mean is, how do you see the concept of neoteny applying to AI? Certainly they're likely to retain cognitive flexibility but in a very different way....
