    OPENSSLmalloc is a macro replacement for CRYPTOmalloc. CRYPTOmalloc is defined in crypto/mem.c. It calls "mallocexfunc". mallocex_func gets defined during the initialization. According to the definition in crypto/crypto.h: define CRYPTOmallocinit() CRYPTOsetmem_functions(malloc, realloc, free) This definition sets mallocexfunc to 'malloc'. That's the...
