  I've actually seen people spinning thread with a drop spindle I can do that. I can also use a Navaho spindle. Can't walk and spin at the same time, though — I'm not that practiced :-) I can also use a slide rule. I'm better at spinning, though....

  There are always things that you cannot hear / see / feel. We're writing complex strategic and ideological anti-toxins in "grunt" language that make nice people like Ms Lieb etc recoil in horror.
