  Wow, this is a gift that keeps on giving. This is the final part. Steve Bannon part 5 https://charlierose.com/videos/30974 After watching over 2.5 hours I am deeply disturbed by Charlie's questions and behavior. They used maybe ten minutes from the whole 2.5 hours to generate the 60 Minutes piece. Based on what I watched, I begin to question all of the negative press about Bannon that I have seen the past year. Enjoy the video....

  Ignore the MSM US media and certainly question their narratives, that's really not what you should take away from those interviews. Bannon is smart (in a very narrow fashion): his solutions .do .not .work, however much he has identified a (limited range) of the issues America faces.   I was debating getting The Great Wall. I was concerned that it was just more building the modern Myth of "Ancient China" as they try to build up their PR campaign justifying their resurgent Nationalism. I don't know if the movie is for their own internal consumption, or external propaganda, or both. I'll track it down. Thanks... The Girl with all the Gifts came in the mail and is on my "to be watched pile". I've added it to my collection of E.L.E. DVDs. I don't know if you have mentioned the movie mother! by Darren Aronofsky. It looks interesting....

  Oh, don't buy the damn thing - it's terrible, the CGI is worse than Jurassic Park (to a really bizarre degree) and it's obvious propaganda. But it's got a couple of very specific messages in it: not least that the Chinese characters operate in a middle space between the smelly, individualistic Westerners and the swarming hive-mind lead by a Queen monsters, each with a specific role to play in the army (cough society cough) and further trashing the Imperial past of their country. Oh, and the Chinese lead is a woman general who doesn't fall for the Male lead (Damon)...
