Commented on Where to get signed copies of "Rule 34"
I just talked to the University Bookstore in Seattle. They're expecting you, no tickets required (very occasionally you need tickets there), and you're on the calendar. I cancelled my Amazon order and I'll pick up a copy there, looking forward...

Where to get signed copies of "Rule 34"
UPS tracking reports my copy is in Portland and on a truck for delivery. This seems unlikely, as it's 9:30 in the evening, and that's the same status it showed at 2 PM this afternoon. My guess is that, as it's Saturday evening and there's no delivery on Sunday or Monday (it's US Independence Day, when we celebrate being invaded by truly lame aliens who do manage to disintegrate the White House), the package will arrive sometime Tuesday. (Not to worry, the SecretBookPolice will be along in a few hours to confiscate your copy ...! :)...

COSine is my only current planned North America trip of 2012 so far. (I hope to be at the worldcon in Chicago, but I won't be making my usual February trip to Boston because I'm guest of honour at a convention in Glasgow the weekend after Boskone -- the jet lag would be epic)....
