Commented on Some rambling thoughts on region restrictions
Isn't the answer to "Who is a publisher who can operate globaly" yourself? I know you've talked about the subject in the past. It's a lot of extra work I agree....

Commented on Amazon: malignant monopoly, or just plain evil?
It wouldn't be easy but it's certainly not impossible. Start small, provide a better service and slowly grow. Look at where Google started and where they are now. I'm still annoyed that agency pricing pretty much killed Fictionwise....

Commented on Amazon: malignant monopoly, or just plain evil?

Commented on Some news about the Hugo voters packet
I think this is a mistake to be perfectly honest but up to them. Doesn't bother me anyway. I bought all three books when they first came out. Perhaps something to keep in mind for the next time authors negotiate...

Commented on Commercial announcement
Ok. Further to my earlier post I have now started reading Bloodline Feud. I'm about halfway through and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Wish I'd stuck at it earlier :)...

Commented on Commercial announcement
I bought the first combined volume when they came out in the UK KIndle store early in 2013. I didn't get very far in though. It seemed like I was about to read a "Modern person ends up in medieval...

Commented on We interrupt this broadcast ...
I've had my UK Kindle edition preordered since April 13th. Looking forward to putting it on my pile of shame (Which operates on a totally random order :) ) I might read it after I finish Jack Glass...
